Artistic Director & Choreographer
Shane Carpenter is a singer/dancer/actor who has been working and training in the performing arts for the last 25 years. He is proud to be the current Artistic Director for Infusion Dance and equally proud to share this experience with his students and fellow teachers. His training came from various studios and theater at North Carolina School of the Arts.
Shane landed his first "big role" as Huck Finn in a regional tour of Big River and has been performing and teaching ever since. Some of his favorite shows include Disney's Main Street Summer Celebration & Mickey Mania, Nickelodeon's Megamess Mania, and Paramount's Entertainment Tonight Special Edition LIVE. Carpenter was also a lead dancer in Barry Lathers RETROACTIVE for Paramount Parks and Royal Carribean Cruise Lines. He has performed in and choreographed over 50 industrials and corporate shows including Crane Plastics, Lens Crafters, and Masquerage as well as two episodes of MTV's My Super Sweet 16.
Shane coached the Columbus Destroyers Bombshells at Nationwide Arena and choreographed the 2007 season opener for the Cleveland Cavs Girls. Shane has won many regional and national choreography awards and has former students dancing professionally and in colleges all over the country. He has been a guest instructor for Auburn University in Alabama & the MAP program at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Shane is also on staff with VIP Dance where he travels the country as a judge and instructor on the national level. Recently he has added IMAGINE Theater Productions to his resume and is choreographing The Rocky Horror Picture Show for fall 2012.

Mia DeWeese is an Infusion Dance alumni and has been a part of the Infusion family since it's inception in 2006. She began dancing when she was 3 years old and hasn't stopped since. Mia’s professional career began in 2006 when she became a member of the contemporary dance company, Exhale Dance Tribe, based out of Cincinnati, OH, under the direction of Missy Lay Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard. In 2013, she graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in dance (ballet concentration), under the direction of Katie Langan. At MMC, she had the opportunity to perform in works choreographed by Robert Battle, Cherice Barton, Larry Keigwin, Pedro Ruiz, Deganit Shemy, Twyla Tharp, Shen Wei, Mark Morris, Lar Lubovitch, and Loni Landon, and she was a member of the Marymount Manhattan College Dance Company from 2010-2013. She is currently freelance performer and instructor residing in New York City. She is a member of the contemporary dance company, BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance, and a participant in 10 Hairy Leg's modern dance project "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe." She is also a participating dancer in The Real Make collective under the choreographic direction of Sonya Tayeh, and has most recently been a dancer in Sonya’s 2015/2016 residency at New York Live Arts. Mia is forever grateful to call Infusion Dance her "home," and travels back often to teach and choreograph.

Amber Church-Isaac has been dancing since she was three years old. She studied her pre-professional career at Infusion Dance under Shane Carpenter and working with various choreographers such as Brooke Pierotti, Caroline Lewis, Allen Cooper, Tre Holloway, Anthony J. Russo and many more. She was a company member of Exhale Dance Tribe, under the direction of Missy Lay Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard. She won many regional and national awards as a competitive dancer. She furthered her professional career by training primarily in ballet and modern at The Alvin Ailey School in NYC. At Ailey she trained and worked with various choreographers such as Ana Marie Forsythe, Tracy Inman, Joan Peters, Milton Meyers, Pedro Ruiz, Freddie Moore, Jacquin Buglisi, Elizabeth Roxas, Sharon Wong, Francesca Harper, Maquette Camera, Earl Mosley and many more. Amber is currently performing for Carpenter Productions as well as teaching and choreographing for Infusion Dance.

Aliane was born and raised in NYC where she trained in dance and gymnastics from an early age. She was a member of the 1996 Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics Team.

Aliane, is currently represented by Clear Talent Group, and still dances professionally. We are thrilled to have her living in Central Ohio and teaching and mentoring students at Infusion Dance!
Josh Seibel, a native of Arizona, began his professional training at the Houston Ballet Ben Stevenson Academy. He trained under Claudio Muñoz, Lazaro Carreño and Phillip Broomhead. At 16, he participated in the Prix de Lausanne and finished in the semi-finals. The following year, he was accepted into the Houston Ballet, and Ballet Memphis two years later. Mr. Seibel joined Ballet San Jose in 2010 and BalletMet in 2015.
TAP / JAZZ / MUSICAL THEATER
Jamie is from Westerville, Ohio where she grew up dancing for 13 years studying in jazz, tap, musical theater, contemporary, ballet, and hip hop. During her years of growing up she was a featured dancer for Joel Grey in Gala Cabaret, studied under scholarship in Chicago with The Gus Giordano Company and lived and trained in NYC as a summer scholarship recipient with NYCDA. There she studied and performed in numbers choreographed by, Michele Assaf, A.C., Lisa Hopkins, Joe Lanteri and Laurie Kanyok as well as having the privilege of being a demonstrator at many traveling conventions. She then moved to Dayton, Ohio where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Wright State University. During that time she was a featured dancer and tumbler with Paramount Productions; Entertainment Tonight, Singer and dancer for the theater production of “Crazy For You”, a featured dancer in Fragment for Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, and was the choreographer and lead performer for Van Hart Productions. After college, she was represented through TnP Agency in NYC where she moved, performed and trained for 3 ½ years under Brian Thomas and Glenn Packard. Through them she was a featured dancer performing at events such as “Destination Groove” a benefit concert at Limelight NYC. She also was a demonstrator for Wes Veldink, Mia Michaels, A.C. and Joey Dowling among other NYC choreographers within the industry. Jamie has been choreographing for over 14 years and now resides in Westerville with husband Eric and their two children, Ella and Colin. Jamie is very excited to continue her love of teaching and choreography with Infusion Dance.
Kerri Riccardi, a New York native, is thrilled to be teaching at Infusion Dance. Ms. Riccardi has trained at the School of American Ballet and Ballet Academy East in New York City. Upon graduating, Ms. Riccardi joined BalletMet as a trainee and then went on to dance with the company for five seasons. She has had the pleasure perform works by world-renowned choreographers such as George Balanchine, James Kudelka, David Nixon, Darrell Grand Moultrie, and Gustavo Ramirez Sansano. Ms. Riccardi is now dancing for Columbus Dance Theatre under the direction of Tim Veach.
Kristie Latham is originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where she trained with Oleg Briansky and Mirelle Briane. She trained at The Rock School for Dance Education under the direction of Bo and Stephanie Spassoff where she received a Full Merit Scholarship from 2004-2008. She was a top 12 finalist in the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York City in 2007. Kristie has danced with BalletNext, Ballet Memphis, Indianapolis City Ballet, and has been a company member with BalletMet since 2013.
A native of Columbus OH, Makahla Ross has been dancing since the early age of four. She studied at Infusion Dance, under the direction of Shane Carpenter, and trained in contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, tap, salsa, and ballet. Makahla is currently working with some of today's top choreographers, and has been a featured dancer along side of Pharrell, Soulja Boy, Vanilla Ice, Twenty One Pilots, and Daft Punk. She has also danced in various award shows including The American Music Awards, The GRAMMY'S, and The Streamy Awards.
Makahla has also been a featured dancer in many music videos such as Akon, Pitbull, and Dj Felli Fel's "Boomerang", Kreayshawn's "Go Hard", and Pixie Lott's single "All About Tonight".
